Welcome to AAH East Berkshire. My name is Helen and I am looking forward to working with you and your beloved pets.

Animals have always played a large part in my life. Growing up, the family home was always full of a menagerie of animals including dogs, rabbits, ducks, hamsters, budgies and cockatiels, so I have lots of experience and hands-on knowledge. Currently I have a dog of my own, Wallace, who is a real character and my best friend... I’d be lost without him. Wherever I go, he goes, and he always seems to get masses of fuss and attention, no matter who he meets!

Having spent most of my working life as a Graphic Designer, I felt in need of more of a challenge. But what and when? Recent unexpected reduncancy, a milestone birthday and some acts of fate all got together and suddenly forced me to make some life changing decisions... and Animals at Home was the answer!

From experience I know your pets are part of the family and deserve the best possible care and attention at all times! Having trained in general animal welfare and cat/dog nutrition, I can offer professional, tailored, friendly care for all your animals – you need to know you can trust someone to look after them the way you do when you can’t be with them for whatever reason.
